Richard Gere’s Bat-Infested Mansion: A Hilarious Take on Selling a House

Richard Gere's bat infested mansion

Richard Gere, the famous actor, and heartthrob has decided to put his New Canaan, Connecticut mansion on the market. But before he can do that, he needs to determine the current market value of his home. So, he decides to do some research and compare the prices of similar houses in the area. As he’s browsing through the listings, he comes across a house that is priced exactly the same as his but with one major difference: it has a giant statue of a chicken in the front yard.

Gere is confused and a bit dismayed, but he knows he has to take this into consideration if he wants to sell his house quickly and for a good price. So, he decides to take matters into his own hands and hires a real estate agent, Ryan Serhant, to help him sell his house.

Serhant suggests that Gere should declutter, deep clean, and make any necessary repairs or renovations to the house to make it more attractive to potential buyers. Gere agrees and starts to tackle the task with gusto.

He starts by getting rid of all the clutter, but quickly realizes that he has a problem: he has accumulated a vast collection of wind chimes over the years, and they are everywhere. He starts to take them down one by one and as he does, he starts to hear a strange noise. He follows the sound and discovers to his horror that he has a colony of bats living in his attic.

Gere quickly calls in a team of exterminators to take care of the problem, but the bats are not going down without a fight. They start to fly around the house, creating chaos and confusion. Gere tries to shoo them away, but they won’t leave.

As the bats are flying around, Gere’s house stager, Cheryl Eisen, arrives. She is horrified by the scene and can’t believe what she’s seeing. Gere tries to explain the situation, but she’s not amused and tells him that there’s no way she can stage his house in this condition.

Gere is desperate to sell his house and doesn’t want to disappoint Eisen, so he comes up with a plan. He hires Andrew Fein, a professional photographer, to take pictures of the house while the bats are still flying around. He figures that this will make the house unique and stand out from all the other listings. Fein agrees and takes some amazing shots of the bats flying around the house.

When the listing goes live, it becomes an instant hit. Everyone is talking about the house with the bats and it’s getting a lot of attention. Gere is thrilled and can’t believe his luck. But as the days go by, the novelty of the bats wears off and the house is still not sold.

Gere starts to get worried and calls Ryan Serhant to ask for help. Serhant suggests that Gere should hire social media expert Gary Vaynerchuk to help him advertise the house in a more effective way. Gere agrees and Vaynerchuk starts to post pictures and videos of the bats on social media. He also creates a hashtag #batmansion and it quickly becomes trending.

As the house is getting more and more attention, potential buyers start to come and see the house. Gere is excited and starts to show the house to Alejandra Silva and Gisele Bundchen. They are both impressed by the house and the bats, but they are not sure if they want to live with bats. Gere starts to negotiate with them and finally, Alejandra Silva agrees to buy the house.

Gere is overjoyed and can’t believe his luck. He closes the sale by finalizing the paperwork and transferring ownership.
